Senior Information Governance Analyst
Lead the Future of Information Governance
Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to serve as Senior Information Governance Analyst, a key role supporting the firm's Information Governance program.
This is an opportunity to lead initiatives that strengthen the firm's information governance framework, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements. As a subject matter expert, you will partner with attorneys, business professionals, and leadership to develop best practices, improve processes, and drive enterprise-wide information governance initiatives.
Working closely with the Information Governance Manager and cross-functional teams, you will help shape the firm's approach to records management, data governance, and information lifecycle management while mentoring team members and supporting continuous improvement across the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for information governance policies, processes, and technology solutions.
  • Develop and enhance procedures, standards, and best practices that strengthen the firm's Information Governance program.
  • Lead complex projects and cross-functional initiatives that improve information management and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce information governance policies to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Analyze data and reporting to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with Legal Hold Counsel and firm stakeholders to support records retention, legal holds, and information lifecycle management.
  • Train, mentor, and provide guidance to Information Governance team members and firm personnel.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk, promote automation, and enhance data governance practices.

  • Strong knowledge of information governance principles, records lifecycle management, and industry best practices.
  • Experience leading projects, developing processes, and implementing technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency with records and document management systems, Microsoft 365, enterprise collaboration platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, PowerShell, Python, workflow automation, or structured and unstructured data environments is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as Information Governance Professional (IGP), Certified Records Manager (CRM), Electronic Records Management (ERM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Lean, or Six Sigma are preferred.

This position may be filled in the following locations. The listed compensation range reflects the typical pay for this role, though it is rare for new hires to receive an offer at the top of the range. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
Colorado compensation range: $71,470 to $106,190 annually
Illinois compensation range: $75,430 to $112,080 annually
Washington state compensation range: $75,390 to $112,020 annually
Washington, D.C. compensation range: $81,420 to $120,980 annually
