Job description

We are seeking an experienced Data Catalog & Lineage Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and adoption of enterprise metadata management and data lineage solutions. This role is ideal for a data governance professional with strong expertise in Collibra, AWS, Snowflake, and enterprise data management practices.
You will partner with data engineering, governance, and business teams to improve data discoverability, establish trusted data assets, and provide end-to-end visibility into data flows while supporting regulatory compliance and governance initiatives.

Job Title: Data Governance- Collibra Developer
Location: Columbus OH (Locals Preferred)
Pay Range: $145,000 - $175,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and enhance enterprise data catalog and data lineage solutions using Collibra.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise metadata management frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Enable end-to-end data lineage across cloud and on-premises data environments.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to improve data discoverability, trust, and compliance.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise data governance policies and standards.
  • Identify and classify Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and ensure compliance with data privacy requirements.
  • Integrate metadata and lineage capabilities with AWS-based data platforms and Snowflake.
  • Support data quality, stewardship, regulatory reporting, and governance initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on metadata management and data governance strategies.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Collibra Data Catalog and Data Lineage.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks and metadata management.
  • Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake and relational databases.
  • Experience implementing enterprise data lineage and metadata management solutions.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
  • Experience identifying and managing PII and sensitive data.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading large-scale data governance transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collibra, AWS, or Data Governance certifications are a plus.
