The Sales Operations Coordinator is an administrative support role for the Louisiana sales team. This position is responsible for data entry, maintaining accurate information in Salesforce, and supporting leadership while coordinating internal processes across sales, estimating, and operations. The role supports bidding activity, tracks opportunities, and ensures data accuracy so the sales team can focus on customer-facing and revenue-generating work.


Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update Salesforce to ensure accurate tracking of accounts, opportunities, and pipeline activity

Support bid processes, including issuing Salesforce numbers and coordinating RFQs, scope details, and documentation between estimating and operations

Track and follow up on open opportunities, bids, and customer requests to ensure timely internal responses

Ensure data integrity and consistency across Salesforce and reporting tools

Provide administrative support to the sales team, including data entry and documentation management

Coordinate communication between sales, estimating, operations, finance, and legal as needed

Help enforce sales process standards and maintain organized, accurate records

Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

Provide administrative and logistical support for sales activities, meetings, and events, including coordination of materials and related orders

Prepare presentations and materials for leadership and sales meetings.


Qualifications:

High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred

1-3 years of experience in sales operations, coordination, or a similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in straightforward situations.

Proficiency in using standard business tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.

Effective communication skills for exchanging information clearly with team members and other departments.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while understanding broader team and organizational dynamics.

Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work in line with established processes.

Adaptable and willing to learn new systems or procedures as required.
