Job Title: Material Staging SpecialistJob Description

The Material Staging Specialist tracks and manages inventory as it moves in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate data entry in inventory systems and timely processing of parts. This role involves heavy computer usage, frequent use of Microsoft Excel, and physical work such as lifting and moving parts throughout the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Track inventory as it arrives at and leaves the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely updates in inventory systems.
  • Use SAP or similar inventory software to track equipment and maintain up-to-date records of materials and parts.
  • Cross-train in related areas to track parts through the process, ensuring they are staged, moved, and processed in a timely manner.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to track parts and inventory, including applying basic functions such as filters to manage and analyze data.
  • Perform heavy computer-based data entry and verification to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by recording incoming and outgoing materials and ensuring correct documentation.
  • Expedite parts and materials as needed to meet production or processing deadlines.
  • Participate in kitting activities by organizing and staging parts according to work orders and production requirements.
  • Work with work orders to ensure materials are correctly assigned, tracked, and processed.
  • Track and input data accurately into inventory and tracking systems to maintain reliable records.
  • Move and carry parts throughout the warehouse, including up and down stairs, while following safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the warehouse environment.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working with work orders in a warehouse or inventory-focused environment.
  • Experience tracking inventory using inventory software, such as SAP or similar systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use basic functions such as filters.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse environment where you will be on your feet for a full 8- to 12-hour shift, depending on schedule. The position involves regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and walking up and down stairs while carrying parts. You will work onsite within an OEM setting and use computers extensively throughout the day, including inventory software and Microsoft Excel. Multiple shift options are available: a first shift, Monday-Friday from 7:00 to 15:30 with a 30-minute lunch (11:30-12:00) and two 10-minute breaks (40 hours); a sixth shift, Monday-Thursday from 15:00 to 1:30 with a 30-minute lunch (20:00-20:30) and two 10-minute breaks (40 hours); a seventh shift, Friday-Sunday from 6:00 to 18:00, typically 36 hours if only breaks are taken or approximately 34.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch; and an eighth shift, Friday-Sunday from 18:00 to 6:00, also typically 36 hours if only breaks are taken or approximately 34.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch. For seventh and eighth shifts, there is an option to work an additional 4 hours during the week on a consistent schedule to reach 40 hours. The environment is structured, with defined breaks and schedules, and requires appropriate warehouse attire suitable for physical work and safety.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
