Greets, instructs, directs and schedules patients, vendors,and other visitors.Serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff. Performs point of service duites such as data entry, medical coding, coordination of benefits and cash drawer maintenance.Responsible for maintaining accurate patientdemographic recordsas well as insurance and benefit information.May operate a switchboard to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
