Job Title: Inventory Associate
A shift Hours: M-F 6am-4:30pm
Location: Orlando, FL 32832
Type: Contract / On-site
Compensation: starts at $28 per hour
Responsibilities
• Support fulfillment operations by performing inventory counting, receiving, packing, and shipping tasks according to standard operating procedures.
• Unload shipments delivered by carriers, visually inspect packages, and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks safely and efficiently.
• Document receipts and process work orders using inventory management tools, ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping.
• Properly package, label, and store parts, ensuring compliance with workflow requirements.
• Sort, stage, and secure packages and crates to prevent loss within the workflow.
• Conduct storage audits and ensure parts are stored correctly according to SOP guidelines.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to fulfillment processes.
Requirements
• Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing (include years and companies).
• Experience with receiving, put-away, picking/kitting, or shipping inventory.
• Willingness to operate forklifts with training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fundamental knowledge of heavy equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic computer skills for navigating inventory management systems and data entry.
