Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Administrative Assistant to support our procurement team. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily administrative operations of the procurement department, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of purchase orders, supplier communications, and inventory tracking. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of procurement processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Champions "The Layton Way" by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers

  • Ensures that "Constructing with Integrity" is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work. 
  • Purchase Order Management: Prepare, review, and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and resolve any issues related to orders or invoices.

  • Inventory Tracking: Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring that stock levels are aligned with company requirements.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
