Job description

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas or take over sponsorship at this time. #BI-Hybrid #LI-Hybrid
About the role:
As a Senior Loan Processor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding loan applications through the complex loan origination lifecycle. You'll take on our more complex and higher-priority files, working directly with internal teams to keep the process accurate, compliant, and moving.
What You'll Do:
  • Review and verify applicant bank statements for authenticity, accuracy, and cash flow trends to identify business behavior
  • Own the highest-complexity or highest-priority files in the queue, triaging and resolving issues independently before they become bottlenecks
  • Drive follow-up communication with applicants and internal stakeholders to close documentation gaps quickly
  • Ensure every file meets Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) standards, applying sound judgment on edge cases
  • Partner closely with underwriters and cross-functional teams to keep the origination pipeline moving without sacrificing accuracy
  • Serve as a go-to resource for less experienced processors - reviewing edge cases, answering process questions, and helping train new hires
  • Maintain data integrity across all loan systems and flag process gaps that could be fixed upstream

Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience in loan processing, loan operations, or a related financial services role
  • Comfort reading and interpreting bank statements or financial documents to assess cash flow and risk
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort following up with applicants on sensitive documentation requests
  • Proven ability to independently triage and resolve issues when priorities shift or multiple files compete for attention
  • Working knowledge of KYC/CIP requirements or similar regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Proficiency with standard data entry, document mangement, and communication software
  • Experience in consumer or small-business lending specifically
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS) or similar platforms

Compensation:
The budgeted hourly rate for this position is $22.00. Additional compensation for this role may include commission. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
Benefits & Perks:
  • Our hybrid roles require in-office work Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This schedule fosters collaboration, team connection, and strategic planning, enhancing communication and effectiveness to drive results.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance including mental health benefits
  • 401(k) matching plus a roth option (U.S. Based employees only)
  • PTO & paid holidays off
  • Sabbatical program (for eligible roles)
  • Summer hours (for eligible roles)
  • Paid parental leave
  • DEI groups (B.L.A.C.K. @ Enova, HOLA @ Enova, Women @ Enova, Pride @ Enova, South Asians @ Enova, APEX @ Enova, and Parents @ Enova)
  • Employee recognition and rewards program
  • Charitable matching and a paid volunteer day...Plus so much more!
