Addison Group is partnering with a growing healthcare organization seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support its referral management team. This position is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills, experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW), and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Description

The Data Entry Specialist will assist with processing incoming patient referrals by utilizing an AI-assisted workflow to transfer referral information into the electronic medical record. This role focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and ensuring patient information is entered correctly so the clinical team can focus on patient outreach and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review incoming patient referrals for completeness and accuracy.
  • Process referral information using an AI-assisted data entry tool.
  • Enter and verify patient information within eClinicalWorks (ECW).
  • Update referral records and complete any missing information as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while meeting daily productivity expectations.
  • Identify discrepancies or incomplete information and communicate questions or concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Support the referral management team by ensuring referrals are processed in a timely manner.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW) is required.
  • Previous healthcare data entry experience required.
  • Familiarity with medical referrals and referral workflows strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology and AI-assisted processes.
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask questions or escalate issues.

  • Work Model: Fully onsite
