Reports To: Director, Payroll
Location: San Jose, CA Hybrid
Salary Range: $25.00/hour to $27.00/hour

THE FINANCE TEAMOur projects may be complex, but our approach is simple: we build great things and we do it with great people. The Finance Team at Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) provides employees, stakeholders, and customers with timely and accurate financial information. The Finance Department is comprised of six teams: accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), billing, collections, payroll and tax that work closely together to ensure compliance and the financial well-being of the company.
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Maintain and manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including email, phone calls, and mail.
  • Copy, scan and upload documents to internal systems as required.
  • Identify and investigate source documents for data accuracy and completeness.
  • Accurately enter confidential personal and tax data into various computer systems from source documents.
  • Ensures completion deadlines are strictly adhered to.
  • Provide high level of customer service and ensure positive internal and external customer interactions.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all communications and transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of various reports to customers.

  • Work in a team environment coordinating with other team members for seamless processing.
  • Prepare and edit documents and presentations as required ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain payroll supply inventory for internal and external teams.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Proven multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent typing skills, including 10-key.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Licensure/Certifications: None required.
Experience: Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.
