What are data entry companies?

Data entry companies are specialized businesses that provide services for inputting, updating, and managing data on behalf of other organizations. They handle various types of data, such as numerical, textual, or image-based information, and often assist with tasks like digitizing paper records, database management, and data cleansing. These companies help businesses improve efficiency and accuracy by outsourcing time-consuming data tasks to trained professionals.

Are any data entry jobs legit?

Data entry jobs can be legitimate if offered by reputable companies and involve tasks such as inputting information into software or databases. However, job seekers should be cautious of scams that promise high pay for minimal work and avoid companies requesting upfront fees or personal information. Verifying the company's credibility and reading reviews can help identify legitimate opportunities.

In summary, Data Entry Companies are organizations that offer data entry services and manage teams of data entry clerks. Data entry clerks are individual professionals performing data input tasks. While companies focus on providing services, clerks focus on executing specific data entry jobs.

What are the typical challenges faced when working at a data entry company, and how can I prepare for them?

Working at a data entry company often involves handling large volumes of information under tight deadlines, which can be repetitive and requires a high level of accuracy. Common challenges include maintaining focus during long periods of data input, managing eye strain, and ensuring data confidentiality. To prepare, it's helpful to develop strong attention to detail, practice efficient typing skills, and become familiar with data management software such as Microsoft Excel or specialized industry platforms. Building good organizational habits and taking regular breaks will also help maintain productivity and accuracy.

How can I make $2000 a week working from home?

Data entry companies often pay per task or hourly, but earning $2000 weekly typically requires working full-time hours at competitive rates or combining multiple freelance or remote data entry jobs. Developing fast typing skills, accuracy, and familiarity with tools like spreadsheets or data management software can improve earning potential. Consistent work, efficiency, and sometimes specialized knowledge are key to reaching higher income levels from home.

How do I actually get a data entry job?

To get a data entry job, you should develop strong typing and computer skills, familiarize yourself with common software like Excel or Google Sheets, and create a professional resume highlighting your accuracy and attention to detail. Applying through online job boards, freelance platforms, or directly to companies that hire remote data entry clerks can increase your chances of finding opportunities.

What is the highest paying data entry job?

The highest paying data entry roles typically involve specialized skills such as medical or legal transcription, or working with advanced data management software, often requiring certifications. These positions can pay higher wages due to the complexity and accuracy required, with some freelance or remote opportunities offering premium rates for experienced professionals. However, most data entry jobs tend to have similar pay scales unless combined with additional expertise or responsibilities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Data Entry Clerk, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Data Entry Clerk, you need fast and accurate typing skills, attention to detail, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel, data management systems, and sometimes industry-specific platforms is typically required. Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to focus for extended periods help individuals stand out in this role. These skills are essential to ensure data integrity, minimize errors, and maintain efficient workflow in business operations.

Senior Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist

Seasons Psychotherapy Associates LLC

Fort Lauderdale, FL • On-site

$23 - $28/hr

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, PTO

Posted 5 days ago

Job description

This is a senior outpatient medical billing and revenue cycle role focused on denials, AR follow-up, payer portals,
EOB/ERA review, payment posting, and claims cleanup.
Seasons Psychotherapy Associates is a growing behavioral health group practice with four Florida offices and a team of roughly 50 clinicians. We provide outpatient mental health care to children, adolescents, and adults. Our back office runs on documented processes, modern systems, and clear administrative career ladders.
The role
This is our first dedicated senior seat in the revenue cycle lane. You will help build the way this function runs.
You will own the claims pipeline for outpatient behavioral health services: clean claim submission, payment posting and reconciliation, denials management, AR follow-up, payer portal work, and documentation of the playbook. You will work in our EHR, SimplePractice, and report to our Practice Manager.
This is not a remote billing-company role, a contract seat, or a narrow data-entry job. We are looking for an individual W-2 employee who wants to become the person we rely on for revenue cycle execution and payer problem-solving.
What you will own
  • Full claims lifecycle for outpatient behavioral health services across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid managed care payers
  • Denials management: root-cause analysis, appeals, resubmissions, payer follow-up, and prevention
  • AR aging triage, payer follow-up strategy, and escalation of recurring issues
  • ERA/EOB posting and reconciliation against expected contracted rates
  • Investigation of underpayments, rate anomalies, ERA disruptions, and recurring denial patterns
  • Written process documentation for the revenue cycle lane
  • Clear communication with the Practice Manager when a payer issue needs leadership attention

What we are looking for
Required:
  • 3+ years of hands-on medical billing, revenue cycle, AR, or payer follow-up experience
  • Real experience with denials management or AR follow-up, not only payment posting or data entry
  • Outpatient specialty billing experience
  • Fluency with EOBs, ERAs, denial codes, appeals, resubmissions, timely-filing rules, and payer portals such as Availity or similar systems
  • Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding for outpatient services
  • Comfort handling PHI and working within HIPAA expectations
  • Strong written documentation habits

Strong plus:
  • Outpatient behavioral health billing experience
  • SimplePractice or similar behavioral health EHR experience
  • Experience identifying a denial pattern, fixing the cause, and preventing repeat rework

Compensation and growth
  • $23-28/hour, based on experience
  • Full-time W-2 employee role
  • Employer-subsidized health, dental, vision, and group life insurance
  • 13 days of PTO in your first year; 26 days annually thereafter
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Hybrid schedule based out of the Seasons office nearest you

Location and eligibility - please read before applying
Florida candidates within reach of one of our offices only. This is a hybrid role with required weekly on-site days. Applicants must currently live within approximately one hour of a Seasons office: Coral Springs, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, or Tampa. Fully remote arrangements are not available and will not be negotiated.
This is a W-2 employee position requiring dedicated, full-time availability during business hours. It is not compatible with concurrent full-time employment elsewhere.
Individual applicants only. We are not engaging staffing agencies, recruiters, RCM companies, billing companies, offshore teams, or contract/corp-to-corp arrangements. Vendor and agency submissions will not be reviewed or responded to.
Finalists complete a live skills exercise and interview on-site. Employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a fingerprint-based Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, as required for employees of Medicaid providers.
Seasons Psychotherapy Associates is an equal opportunity employer.
