Warehouse and Delivery Driver

Location: Duluth, MN

Job type: Full Time

License: Class D or higher License required

Vehicle Type: Box truck, straight turck or cargo van

Schedule: 4am start, Monday - Friday

Hourly pay: $21.00 - $26.00/hr (pay increases with delivery driving experience)  

*Compensation for this position includes hourly pay, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.

Viking Electric is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate & Back-Up Delivery Driver to join our team. This hybrid role supports daily warehouse operations while also stepping in to assist with local customer deliveries when needed.

You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and shipped-and safely delivered to customers.

What You'll Do Warehouse Responsibilities (Primary)
  • Load, unload, and move materials safely using manual methods or powered industrial equipment 
  • Receive, count, check, and process incoming and outgoing materials 
  • Pick, pack, label, palletize, and route materials for delivery or storage
  • Complete paperwork and data entry using warehouse systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Delivery Driver (Back-Up Support)
  • Deliver materials to customers safely and efficiently on multi-stop routes 
  • Load/unload delivery vehicles using proper equipment and techniques 
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures 
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries 
  • Assist with routing coordination and provide feedback for efficiency improvements 

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED preferred 
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred 
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Motor Vehicle Policy requirements 
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain a DOT Medical Card 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 75-85 lbs 
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift 
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and outdoor delivery conditions 

Work Environment
  • Warehouse setting with active equipment and material movement 
  • Delivery driving in varied weather conditions and job sites 
  • Use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and delivery vehicles
