Job description

We are looking to add a Scanning and Distribution Tech to our Stevens Point, WI office team!
Our Scanning and Distribution Tech provide support to the Enterprise Scanning and Mail Services organization by performing routine activities related to the distribution of outgoing mail/packages, operates various data imaging and mailroom equipment and performs miscellaneous administrative duties.
This role will report to our Stevens Point, WI office and will be regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours a week. Current hours for the role would be Mondays 6:15-2:45pm, and Fridays 6:15am to 10:15am CST.
What You'll Do
The Scanning & Distribution Technician operates equipment including an opener, photocopier, scanner, and various other machines. In addition, you will:
  • Monitor various systems and reports to ensure accuracy within the overall mail transaction process.
  • Be responsible for the filing, maintenance, storage, retrieval and destruction of hard copy mail in accordance with established procedures.
  • Research the appropriate destination of miscellaneous mail.
  • Maintain current address files for offices, sales representatives, and agents.
  • Complete deliveries to multiple offices throughout Stevens Point using a company vehicle.

What it Takes
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently enter and verify data on a PC.
  • Previous data entry experience beneficial.
  • Ability to understand postal scales and rates desired.
  • Mechanical skills to aid in the identification and resolution of equipment issues.
  • Ability to work with a high degree accuracy and great interpersonal skills desired.
  • Ability to push and pull various carts with varying weights and loads and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Valid driver's license required.
