Job Description
Job Summary:
Performs precision mechanical assembly for Cooler production. Performs the required processes of cleaning, documenting, and testing of Cooler parts, subassemblies, and finished goods. Utilizes production tooling, computers, and specialized equipment required for production and material/WIP tracking. Identifies and documents discrepant material. Interacts with Coworkers, Managers, and Engineering.
This position will be a 2nd Shift position with hours from 03:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This position will train for the first 8-12 weeks on the 1st Shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Precision mechanical assembly and adhesive application following work instructions
  • Perform measurements and tests from test procedures and document results
  • Data entry for travelers and WIP tracking
  • Assist Engineering in developmental processes, as necessary
  • Several cleaning operations
  • Miscellaneous support functions, as necessary

Job Qualifications:
  • Must be able to communicate orally, read, and write using the English language
  • Ability to work using hands and have good manual dexterity with attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Must be able to visually inspect small parts
  • Must be able to use small hand tools like tweezers, hex keys, and probes/picks
  • Must be able to use a microscope
  • Must be able to use hands to move and assemble very small parts and fastening devices
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., unassisted

Desired Skills:
  • 2+ years related experience with electro-mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and understand written test procedures

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Salary Range:
$44,500.00-$59,300.000
