To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Business Development Manager based remotely from within the United States.

Reporting to the Business Development Director for Modular, the Business Development Manager will be in charge of qualifying new customers and generating new business, developing business with them, achieving pipeline and bookings results according to assigned targets.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Utilizes customer, contentious and market intelligence to develop sales and account penetration.

  • Recognize the breadth and depth of Anord Mardix capabilities to develop proactive solutions or answer to proposal which differentiates Flex and enables the customer to address key issues and/or drive top line growth.

  • Create and drive personal pipeline in line with overall business unit strategy.

  • Play a guidance role in devising strategies to promote Flex Shaping propositions to meet client requirements working alongside Regional VP's, and Business Development team.

  • Knows the customer's organization, products, market position, and goals, sourcing strategy, suppliers, manufacturing locations, opposition and future directions.

  • Owns and drives the execution of the account strategy to close business.

  • Pipeline development, management, contract negotiation and approval process.

  • Establishes and develops customer relationships to position Flex for long term growth contributes to establish effective communication process with Account Manager and execution teams to ensure clearly defined customer expectations and contractual obligations.

  • Research and knows customers' business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities.

  • Achievement of personal booking targets.

  • Define business priorities through a broad and far vision of market and technology needs, to include initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.

  • Generate new business and act as focal point in presenting, selling and delivering Flex's solutions which include concept development, design and engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services hold up and reverse logistics.

  • Aware of strategic fit between customers' needs and Flex capabilities, in alignment with Flex business growth strategy.

  • Account planning, proactive proposals, relationships development, quoting intelligence and proposals development, customer meetings.

  • Negotiate deals and service accordance.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience.

  • Experience in the Data Center/Critical Power business development, focusing on strategic Data Center growth in North America.

  • Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to maximize mutual benefit.

  • Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers' needs and Anord Mardix & Flex targets.

  • Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
