Summary:
The Investment Platform Analyst is responsible for overseeing the operational implementation of investment strategies for newly acquired wealth management firms. This role serves as the bridge between investment recommendations and execution, ensuring acquired firms are successfully transitioned from legacy investment programs to the OneDigital wealth platform. You will lead the development of operational process with the goal of creating a seamless experience with in-house and third-party investment vehicles, including alternatives and SMAs.
Working closely with client portfolio managers, advisors, trading, operations, custodians, and technology partners, this individual manages complex conversion projects from initial strategy selection through account implementation and ongoing stabilization. The role combines project management, investment operations, platform administration, and process improvement to deliver a seamless advisor and client experience. Approximately 65-75% of the role focuses on acquisition integration and platform conversions, while the remaining 25-35% supports ongoing investment operations, platform administration, and data quality initiatives across the firm's investment technology ecosystem.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
M&A Integration & Investment Implementation
  • Serve as the primary project manager for investment platform integrations associated with acquired wealth management firms

  • Partner with client portfolio managers to translate investment recommendations into executable implementation plans

  • Coordinate the migration of client assets from legacy investment programs into approved platform strategies, models, and solutions

  • Develop firm-level and client-level transition plans, including account mapping, strategy assignments, trading workflows, and implementation timelines

  • Facilitate communication between advisors, investment personnel, trading teams, custodians, and operational stakeholders throughout the conversion process

  • Monitor project milestones, identify implementation risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure successful onboarding

  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and status updates for conversion initiatives and leadership review

  • Support advisor training and adoption efforts during platform migrations

Investment Operations & Platform Administration
  • Maintain data integrity across investment and planning systems, including Orion, Eclipse, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, custodian platforms, and reporting tools

  • Perform ongoing quality assurance reviews to identify and resolve account, household, model, and reporting discrepancies

  • Coordinate platform setup, account maintenance, and operational workflows

  • Partner with technology and operations teams to improve system integrations, automation, and advisor workflows

  • Develop procedures and controls designed to improve scalability, operational efficiency, and client experience

  • Assist with testing and deployment of platform enhancements, new technology solutions, and process improvements

Process Improvement & Reporting
  • Create and maintain dashboards tracking acquisition integration progress, implementation metrics, and operational service levels

  • Identify opportunities to streamline account conversion workflows and reduce operational friction for advisors

  • Support development of standardized implementation processes and best practices across acquired firms

  • Produce management reporting related to conversion activity, platform utilization, and operational effectiveness

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously

  • Ability to coordinate across investment, operations, technology, and advisor-facing teams

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Education, Training and Experience:
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in wealth management, investment operations, portfolio administration, implementation consulting, or related financial services roles

  • Experience with Orion and Eclipse is essential

  • Familiarity with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Fidelity, Schwab, Raymond James, or similar advisor technology platforms preferred

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and operational initiatives preferred

  • Knowledge of programmatic analysis tools a plus (Python, R, MATLAB)

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
