Description

Location: Schertz, TXย 

Shift: ย 2PM- 10PM| Monday- Fridayย 

Type: Full- Timeย 

Status: Hourlyย 

  • ย Follow all Safety Guidelines & Procedures (i.e. LOTO, Guarding).
  • ย Perform physical testing of raw material, production, development trials, and composites.
  • ย Perform hourly production line inspections and record results.
  • ย Prepare Master Control Samples.
  • ย Assist with Certificate of Conformance reports.
  • ย Assist with PPAP testing.
  • ย Inspect and recommend disposition of Nonconforming or suspect material.
  • ย Work closely with line personnel to ensure quality is understood throughout the production process.
  • ย Provide administrative support for the Quality Department.
  • ย Follow and interpret policies and procedures.
  • ย Work with customer service and other departments as needed.
  • ย Ensure calibrations are up to date.
  • ย Follow up on corrective action or action plans.
  • ย Document and data control review.
  • ย Actively participate in the 6S Process and maintain housekeeping during the shift.
  • ย Assist production personnel with tasks supporting the production line.
  • ย Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • ย High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • ย Nonwovens experience is a plus, but not required.
  • ย Ability to operate testing equipment and performing lab testing.
  • ย Basic computer and math skills.
  • ย Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work on a team as well as independently.
  • ย Ability to work in hot/cold manufacturing environment, which can include standing and/or sitting for the duration of the task.
  • ย Ability to transport or move up to 50lbs. of material.
  • ย Ability to understand and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • ย Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and/or other employees.
  • ย Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend when business demands warrant a 24-7 continuous operation.
