Job description

Accounting Clerk Needed ASAP
Great Cypress location -  77070
To 50K DIRECT HIRE

In Office Role

This role is responsible for job cost opening and closing, invoicing, and day-to-day accounting support. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Field Point, working knowledge of NetSuite, and familiarity with Corrigo.
Responsibilities

  • Open and close jobs within Field Point, ensuring accurate job cost tracking from start to finish
  • Prepare, review, and process customer invoicing through Field Point
  • Support month-end and job closeout reconciliation for power generation projects
  • Enter and maintain accounting data in NetSuite
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks as needed
  • Coordinate with managers and field staff to confirm job status, scope changes, and billing details
  • Maintain accurate, organized records for audit and reporting purposes
  • Utilize Corrigo for related tracking/reporting tasks as required
  • Perform other accounting clerk duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Prior experience opening/closing jobs and processing invoices in Field Point required
  • Experience working with NetSuite required
  • Knowledge of Corrigo preferred
  • Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related clerical role, ideally within power generation, construction, or field services
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Strong work ethics
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, field teams, and staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 1–3+ years of relevant accounting clerk experience preferred
