Some employers may require higher speeds, especially for more demanding roles, but 40 WPM is considered the minimum for most entry-level jobs. Accuracy is just as important as speed, so it's important to balance both when applying for data entry roles.

What are some common challenges faced by Data Entry professionals regarding typing speed (WPM) requirements, and how can they be managed on the job?

Data Entry roles often require maintaining a high words-per-minute (WPM) typing speed while ensuring accuracy. Common challenges include managing fatigue during repetitive tasks, maintaining concentration over long periods, and balancing speed with attention to detail.
