Job description

Data Center Lead (3 Openings) – Colorado City / Barber Lake, TX | Onsite


NextGen is hiring Data Center Shift Leads to support a large-scale AI Data Center deployment for Our Client. We are looking for experienced Data Center professionals with strong Rack & Stack experience and leadership capabilities to lead technicians during shift operations.


Location:

  • Colorado City, TX
  • Barber Lake, TX
  • 100% Onsite


Duration:

  • 3+ Months Contract
  • High potential for extension or full-time opportunity based on performance


Available Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM


Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Data Center technicians during assigned shifts
  • Assign and prioritize installation tasks
  • Ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Conduct shift handovers and maintain work continuity
  • Coach and support technicians during live deployments
  • Perform Data Center hardware installations and infrastructure build activities
  • Troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues
