What does a data center engineer do?
What is the difference between Data Center Engineer vs Network Engineer?
| Aspect | Data Center Engineer | Network Engineer |
|---|---|---|
| Certifications | CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, Data Center-specific certifications | CCNA, CCNP, Cisco certifications |
| Work Environment | Data centers, server rooms, hardware-focused | Network infrastructure, routing, switching environments |
| Responsibilities | Design, maintain, and troubleshoot data center hardware and infrastructure | Design, implement, and manage network systems and connectivity |
