Job description

Seeking a recent Electrical Engineering graduate, preferably with a BSEE or BSEET degree, who training or experience with Programmable Logic Controls. This is a great opportunity to train under senior level controls engineers and advance in a great company. Will also consider a Controls Technician who can troubleshoot and modify PLCs. Must be a US Citizen and / or have a Green Card.
Description for the Entry Level Electrical Controls Engineer:
  • Communicating with customers to determine specifications, choosing electrical controls & components, designing, programming, troubleshooting and testing PLCs and HMIs.
  • Programming industrial control hardware, hydraulic circuits, PLCs, HMIs motion controls, robotics, operator interface terminals and data acquisition equipment.
  • Program Allen Bradley RSLogix5000 and Siemens S7 Controls Design.
  • Design electrical schematics and control panels using AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Electrically and logically interfacing electrical components.
  • Assist in solving problems involving process and control systems.

Desired requirements for the Entry Level Electrical Controls Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong interest in PLC and HMI Programming.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to take direction and learn quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization and presentation skills.
  • Able to travel 25% over night.
