Job description

An excellent opportunity with a leading data center infrastructure organization supporting the construction, deployment, installation, and commissioning of large-scale data center facilities. This is a contract position requiring full-time onsite leadership within an active data center construction environment. The role will oversee daily deployment activities, installation teams, commissioning efforts, contractors, vendors, and field operations while serving as the primary onsite point of contact for project execution.
This position is ideal for someone with extensive ground-up data center construction experience who has successfully delivered large-scale data center facilities. The organization is targeting an aggressive construction and deployment schedule and is seeking a hands-on leader capable of driving execution, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring installation and commissioning activities remain on track. Experience leading large cabinet deployment programs, coordinating commissioning activities, and managing fast-paced construction schedules is critical to success in this role
Required Skills & Experience
  • Ground-up data center construction experience
  • Experience delivering large-scale data center facilities (greenfield preferred, brownfield acceptable)
  • Strong installation, deployment, and commissioning management experience
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, site teams, and daily field operations
  • Experience overseeing large-scale cabinet deployment programs
  • Strong understanding of physical data center infrastructure including power, racks, servers, networking, and cabling
  • Experience managing large-scale data center deployment projects
  • Ability to drive aggressive project schedules and maintain execution timelines
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience coordinating multiple workstreams within active construction and deployment environments
  • Ability to identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
