Job Description

 
Under supervision of the Senior Project Manager individuals with a background or some experience in construction, operating power tools, and interpreting architectural blueprints and schematics as well as education or certifications related to communications technology are preferred.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Work with other team members and attend job meetings as required
· Travel to customer locations
· Trace cabling, data, fiber optic multi conductor twisted pair
· Must be motivated, willing to learn and goal orientated
· Installs IT equipment, routers, switches, firewalls, surveillance cameras, access controls equipment and wireless bridges
· Installation and configuration of network equipment, including switches, routers, servers, and associated equipment for networking of POS systems
· Install, terminate, and program data cabling and associated hardware. Test and troubleshoot installed cable.
· Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
· Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables; recording configuration diagrams and specifications.
