Job description

About the role

Picture your week: you arrive on site, open the latest blueprints, and plan the day’s network cabling work across MDFs and data hall rows. You coordinate with stakeholders, verify that tasks align to industry standards and building codes, and then lead the hands-on installation and decommissioning of copper and fiber infrastructure. When issues threaten the timeline, you remove roadblocks—quickly. You splice fiber, validate routes, and troubleshoot to keep the project moving. Then you’re off to the next facility—this is a travel team role supporting multiple data centers.

  • Lead installation and decommissioning of network cabling infrastructure in data center environments.
  • Interpret blueprints and building documentation to plan and execute work.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align scope, sequencing, and change impacts.
  • Enforce adherence to applicable standards and building codes.
  • Proactively identify and remove issues that could delay project schedules.
  • Perform fusion splicing and copper/fiber termination activities.
  • Own troubleshooting across MDF and data hall connectivity.
Your background
  • Broad understanding of data center environments.
  • Proficiency in cabling infrastructure, copper and fiber cable, fusion splicing, MDF work, and troubleshooting.
