Data Cabling Technician I. This role is an entry-level position responsible for completing assigned installation tasks while maintaining NNS standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow a career in structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure.

General Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening if required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Comfortable working in ceilings, crawl spaces, and construction environments
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Willingness to travel to job sites and occasionally work overtime as project schedules require
What You'll Do
- Assist with the installation of structured cabling systems in commercial environments
- Pull, route, and dress copper and fiber optic cabling
- Terminate and test CAT5e, CAT6, and other low-voltage cabling systems
- Follow project plans, safety requirements, and installation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with technicians, lead technicians, and project managers
- Learn industry standards, installation techniques, and best practices
- Properly use and maintain hand tools and installation equipment
- Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and accurately
What You'll Bring
- No prior experience required - training provided
- Valid Colorado driver's license required
- Basic hand tools required
- Ability and willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to receive instruction, learn new skills, and apply feedback
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and construction job sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous construction, electrical, low-voltage, telecommunications, or labor experience
- Interest in structured cabling, networking, or technology systems
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
