Audit Network Technician - Data Center

New Albany, OH (Initial

Assignment)

Contract-to-Hire →

(640 hours) then Full time with Engineer Title

  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals (Layer 1–3)
  • Experience with:
    • Cabling / infrastructure (fiber)
    • Routers, switches, and data center environments
    • Network troubleshooting
    • Fiber Testing experience is important
  • Ability to:
    • Read engineering diagrams, schematics, and layouts
    • Interpret technical design documentation
    • Perform circuit mapping & topology visualization
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

  • Document findings and work with engineers to resolve gaps

Long-Term Growth

  • Convert after ~640 hours
  • Move into a full-time Engineering role

This is a pipeline into network engineering, not just another contract

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
