About the role
If you are looking to be an intricate part of a growing Inc.5000 organization, this is just the position for you. As a Night Distpatch, you will be responsible to coordinate all processes and functions of shipment planning and freight movement. You will be helping our customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions as well as providing visibility to management and clients in the form of tracking & tracing, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting all operational issues.
Schedule:
Week 1: Wednesday-Saturday 5 PM-5 AM
Week 2: Thursday-Saturday 5 PM-5 AM
What you'll do
  • Maintain and grow solid relationships with current carrier partners
  • Manage relationships with dedicated carriers for Axle's enterprise accounts
  • Ensure clients expectations are being met and exceeded
  • Display a best-in-class mentality ensuring carrier coverage and execution of account SOPs
  • Utilization of industry leading technology to provide data and visibility
  • Manage the movement of client's goods, ensuring that they are picked up, transported, and delivered on time to the client's satisfaction
  • Continuously have up to date market knowledge to determine and negotiate pricing to clients and carriers successfully
