About this opportunity

We are seeking a highly technical and dynamic leader to drive AI‑powered automation and data strategy across our global hyperscaler programs. In this role, you will operate as a hands‑on leader and strategist, shaping and executing the roadmap for automation, tooling, and data‑driven decision‑making. While an individual contributor role, you will lead a global, matrixed team to design scalable solutions that improve delivery quality, accelerate deployments, industrialize operations and optimize the cost structure.

What You Will DoStrategy & Roadmap
  • Define and execute the AI‑driven automation and data strategy for global hyperscaler delivery programs
  • Establish a scalable tools and automation roadmap aligned with engineering and delivery goals
  • Identify and prioritize high‑impact automation use cases
  • Build business cases and secure leadership approval
Leadership & Execution
  • Collaborate with peers to identify improvement needs and prioritize use cases
  • Lead a matrixed global team across regions and functions to deliver automation solutions end‑to‑end
  • Drive execution, adoption, and continuous improvement of automation tools and data capabilities within the approved budget
  • Partner with engineering, delivery, and commercial teams to embed solutions into live programs
AI & Data Enablement
  • Enable data‑driven operations through advanced analytics and AI capabilities
  • Leverage AI/ML to improve efficiency, quality, forecasting, and root cause analysis
  • Define data standards, instrumentation, and feedback loops to continuously optimize delivery
  • Support development of customer APIs
  • Establish metrics to measure program effectiveness, efficiency, and automation ROI
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience across: data center or telecom infrastructure engineering, automation (scripting, tooling, platforms), large‑scale deployment or operations programs
  • Strong understanding of: available AI/ML applications in operations and automation, data lake and AI platform options
  • Proven experience defining and executing automation and data strategies at scale
  • Experience working in a global delivery model, including offshore and nearshore teams
  • Ability to lead in a matrixed organization
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and scalability
  • Comfortable operating across multiple time zones in a fast‑paced environment
Compensation and Benefits at Ericsson

Your Pay – The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job‑related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. Short‑Term Variable Compensation Plan: your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro‑ration rules apply.

Your Health – Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

Your Financial Security – Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees also receive company credits equal to the cost of basic life insurance, basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, and short‑term and long‑term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time – Your work‑life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Paid time off is pro‑rated based on the employee’s start date. Ericsson also provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% pay.
