Position Description

The Account Associate Group plays a dynamic role in supporting PIMCOโ€™s Latin America institutional and retail clients. As an Account Analyst, you will gain handsโ€‘on exposure to client service, sales strategy, portfolio analysis, and fixed income markets while working closely with dedicated relationship teams in Account Management. You will collaborate across PIMCO to help deliver highโ€‘quality client service, support business development initiatives, and contribute to sales efforts across the region. In this role, you will build a strong foundation in asset management through meaningful responsibilities, mentorship, and exposure to clientโ€‘facing work. Account Analysts develop skills in market and portfolio analysis, client communication, CRM and pipeline management, and the thoughtful use of data, automation, and AIโ€‘enabled tools to improve reporting, meeting preparation, and client insights. Beyond dayโ€‘toโ€‘day client service, Account Analysts play an important role in supporting the operating infrastructure of client coverage, including reporting, coordination, followโ€‘up, and execution. The position offers a platform for longโ€‘term career development at PIMCO, with opportunities to build the skills needed for future clientโ€‘facing, product specialist, or other roles across the firm.

Position Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required
  • A minimum 3.2 overall GPA
  • 0-2 years of professional experience, including internships, with exposure to financial services, clientโ€‘facing environments, sales, business development, or investmentโ€‘related work preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Completion of Series 7 and 63 within the first six (6) months of employment.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the financial markets, fixed income, and portfolio management techniques
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial, CRM, and dataโ€‘management tools.
  • Interest in leveraging data, automation, and AIโ€‘enabled technologies to generate insights and improve business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problemโ€‘solving, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present insights clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively across teams, and deliver highโ€‘quality work in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in client relationship management, sales, business development, or client service, with a desire to build commercial and investment knowledge within asset management.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance. Salary Range: $ 90,000.00 - $ 100,000.00
