Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a visionary Senior Director of Data and Automation to lead the digital transformation of OCI's global supply chain operations. This leader will drive the development of advanced data platforms, AI-enabled automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-support systems that enable OCI's supply chain organization to scale efficiently in support of rapid cloud infrastructure growth.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation Strategy

  • Lead the strategy and execution of supply chain automation and digital transformation initiatives across the Supply Chain organization.  

  • Develop and implement AI-driven capabilities that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and decision-making across supply chain functions.  

  • Drive the elimination of manual, non-value-added work through intelligent automation, predictive workflows, and advanced analytics.  

  • Build machine learning models and automation tools supporting forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, yield management, logistics, cost management, and manufacturing execution.  

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics to improve supply continuity, operational responsiveness, and deployment readiness.  

Data Science, Engineering & Analytics Leadership 

  • Develop, lead, and grow high-performing teams of data scientists, data engineers, AI/ML specialists, and analytics professionals.  

  • Design tools to oversee the full lifecycle of supply chain including data management, modeling, governance, and visualization.  

  • Develop scalable data architectures and system capabilities supporting real-time operational intelligence and predictive analytics.  

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility across global supply chain systems and operational platforms.  

  • Drive adoption of modern analytics, AI, and automation technologies across the organization.  

Operational Intelligence & Decision Support 

  • Develop advanced metrics, dashboards, and operational control towers that provide end-to-end visibility of the health of the business across supply chain operations.  

  • Build intelligent alerting and alarm systems that proactively identify risks,  issues, and operational bottlenecks requiring intervention, assessment and decision-making.  

  • Design predictive monitoring systems enabling faster escalation management and improved operational resilience.  

  • Deliver executive-level insights and analytics supporting strategic planning, operational execution, and infrastructure scaling decisions.  

  • Partner with Supply Planning, Materials Management, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Capacity Management, and Data Center Operations teams to improve operational visibility and execution.  

Cross-Functional Transformation Leadership 

  • Lead enterprise-wide automation and transformation programs that enable OCI's Supply Chain Organization to scale globally.  

  • Drive process standardization, workflow optimization, and operational excellence initiatives across global teams.  

  • Influence organizational strategy through data-driven recommendations and technology innovation.  

Supply Chain & Infrastructure Operations Support 

  • Support operational readiness for OCI's rapidly expanding cloud infrastructure and data center footprint.  

  • Automate critical Key Performance Indicator and metrics to be used to implement more control over day-to-day business operations.  

  • Enable forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, supplier performance management, manufacturing readiness, and logistics execution through advanced analytics.  

  • Develop predictive models and operational tools that improve supplier commits, capacity planning, deployment scheduling, and material availability.  

  • Help mitigate operational risk through proactive analytics, scenario modeling, and automation-driven decision support.  

Required Qualifications 

Experience 

  • 12+ years of experience in data analytics, automation, AI/ML, or enterprise transformation roles.  

  • Proven experience leading data team in technology or supply chain environments.  

  • Experience building tools, models and dashboards across cross functional teams.  

  • Strong background building data and analytics platforms supporting operational execution.  

  • Experience driving AI, machine learning, and automation initiatives within supply chain or operational organizations.  

  • Demonstrated success leading systems enhancements and process optimization programs.  

  • Experience supporting hardware operations, manufacturing, logistics, or hyperscale infrastructure environments preferred.  

Technical Skills 

  • Strong expertise in AI/ML technologies, predictive analytics, automation frameworks, and data engineering.  

  • Experience with SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/data pipelines, and business intelligence tools.  

  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications including SCM, Procurement, Planning, and ERP systems preferred.  

  • Experience building operational dashboards, control towers, KPI frameworks, and alerting systems.  

  • Knowledge of forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, manufacturing operations, and logistics processes.  

  • Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems architectures preferred.  

Leadership & Communication 

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business decisions.  

  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity in a rapidly scaling operational environment.  

  • Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technical and operational organizations.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in cloud infrastructure, hyperscale data center operations, or large-scale hardware supply chains.
