JOB SUMMARY (the purpose and general nature of the job):

Stolle Machinery is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems & Analytics Developer to support and enhance our enterprise systems, reporting, and data integrations. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Power BI, Salesforce backend development, and IFS ERP, working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and IT.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making, supporting quote-to-order and order-to-invoice processes, and ensuring system integrations and analytics align with business objectives.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:

  • Design and develop custom Salesforce applications and enhancements using backend technologies such
  • as Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and REST/ SOAP APIs.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, analytics tools) using
  • MuleSoft, Heroku, or direct API calls Salesforce.
  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot back-end issues to ensure stability and efficiency.
  • Maintain and secure Salesforce data models, triggers, and backend processes, adhering to best practices. and governed structure as well as SalesForce FAQs.
  • Support Salesforce objects related to CRM, CPQ, quoting, pricing, and opportunity management.
  • Create and maintain integration between Salesforce and IFS.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability across Salesforce environments.
  • Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and manage data feeds, batch processes, and scheduled jobs for large-scale data handling.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and integration points for future maintenance.
  • Support and train end-users on back-end features and integrations when needed.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for executive, operational, and financial reporting.
  • Build and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.
  • Integrate data from Salesforce, IFS ERP, and other internal systems.
  • Validate data accuracy and reconcile financial and operational metrics.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and continuous improvement of reporting standards.
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and IT to align systems with business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to Stolle leadership team.
  • Document system designs, data flows, and integration architectures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation efforts.
  • Apply VBA and PowerShell knowledge to automate and streamline data analytics.
  • Utilize provided information and keen insight to recommend development of new analytics workflows or modification of existing analytics workflows.
  • Responsible for development and presentation of ongoing analytics for the sales department with distinguished customers.
  • Collaborate with and understand all departments to pinpoint analytic needs and improvements.
  • Train new business analysts while encouraging creative thinking in the pursuit of developing powerful and dynamic analytic tools.
  • Investigate potential opportunities for the incorporation of data science: artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive modeling, statistical modeling, etc.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Power BI security roles.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Recommended education, knowledge, and experience:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with Salesforce and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Apex and Lightning Web Components (for backend logic)
  • Strong understanding of SOQL/SOSL and API integrations
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Heroku, and Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Knowledge of Git and version Control
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns
  • Ability to maintain a prominent level of confidentiality.
  • Highly proficient computer skills including Power BI, Power Query, Visual Basic, SQL, etc.
  • Understands how to implement RLS, DRLS, CLS, and OLS regarding Power BI dashboard security.
  • Maintain the ability to leverage data warehouses using Power BI Services
  • Possesses adequate knowledge in both software development and data analytics.
  • Ability to synthesize substantial amounts of data by leveraging a deep understanding of data modeling.
  • Adept at learning/incorporating modern technology and applications to nurture the growth of the business.
  • Initiative-taker, elevated level of diligence, resourceful and creative with solutions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Well-spoken with the confidence to give presentations to both internal and external executive level customers.
  • Strong organizational and oral/written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:


  • This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
  • The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, which may include on-call status, evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Expect to travel occasionally to meet global Stolle team members, engage in customer meetings, and give business analytics presentations.
  • Ability to lift/maneuver 20 pounds.
