Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Design, build, and maintain robust star-schema data models and SQL views within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to support regional operations
  • Build and optimize semantic layers, metadata packages, definitions, and security access models to ensure consistent metrics across the organization
  • Consolidate data structures across disparate regional properties to create a unified view of property performance, guest behavior, and revenue tracking
  • Author clean, well-documented, and performant SQL queries to streamline data pipeline processing and minimize warehouse query runtimes
  • Proactively monitor data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, troubleshooting and resolving integration failures, data quality issues, or pipeline bottlenecks to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data
  • Feature-engineer dataset tables and prepare structured data views to feed predictive artificial intelligence and machine learning models
  • Partner with the analytics team on effective use of AI across the department, including forecasting (covers, occupancy, gaming volume, labor demand), predictive modeling (customer lifetime value, churn, reinvestment), and other applied use cases; evaluate tools, advise on appropriate techniques, and help translate business questions into well-scoped AI/ML problems
  • Integrate, map, and model guest journey data from the marketing CRM, including omni-channel campaigns, segmentation performance, email open/click behaviors, and promotional attribution
  • Model and interpret core gaming metrics, including Slot/Table Drop, Win/Hold percentages, Theoretical Win (Theo), and coin-in data, in partnership with operations and finance leadership
  • Build and maintain a working understanding of Property Management Systems (PMS) data, including ADR (Average Daily Rate), RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), occupancy tracking, and multi-property booking behaviors
  • Map data from Player Tracking Systems, managing rewards, tier progressions, reinvestment rates, and marketing offer redemptions
  • Model food and beverage transaction data from InfoGenesis POS, including check-level detail, menu mix, voids, and comps, to support outlet performance and F&B analytics
  • Integrate workforce and payroll data from UKG Labor / Kronos, applying Slowly Changing Dimension techniques so labor history (roles, pay rates, property assignments) is preserved for accurate hourly labor efficiency and historical reporting

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in data modeling, analytics engineering, or business intelligence engineering
  • Advanced SQL mastery, with expert-level ability to write complex analytical queries, stored procedures, database indexes, and performance-tuning optimizations
  • Strong foundational knowledge of relational databases, dimensional modeling, and Enterprise Data Warehouse infrastructure
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience using erwin Data Modeler to view, interpret, or contribute to enterprise-level logical and physical data diagrams
  • Practical experience building enterprise semantic layers, data packages, or structured metadata layouts for enterprise reporting platforms (e.g., IBM Cognos, Looker, or Power BI)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work effectively from a designated regional location, with a strong geographic preference for Reno, NV or Denver, CO
  • Strong analytical skill and aptitude for working with data and logical thinking
