Job Description: The Sr. Quality Data Analyst is a strategic business partner supporting the Quality organization and collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, Sourcing, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams. This role serves as the enterprise subject matter expert for quality performance data, warranty analysis, Returns & Allowances, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and other critical quality metrics. The Sr. Quality Data Analyst translates complex data into meaningful business insights that drive customer satisfaction, quality improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence. This position is responsible for designing and standardizing quality reporting systems, developing advanced analytics, identifying trends and root causes, and partnering with leadership to drive data-driven decision making across the organization. The successful candidate combines strong analytical expertise, manufacturing quality knowledge, statistical analysis capabilities, and business acumen to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts throughout the enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Data Exploration & Insights: Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, customer behaviors, operational inefficiencies, product warranty trends, and opportunities; translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experimentation & A/B Testing: Design and analyze rigorous A/B tests to measure the impact of countermeasures. Identify corrective and preventive actions required to systemically solve business problems,
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leadership, Operations and Quality teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and data-driven roadmaps.
  • Model Development: Design, train, and evaluate predictive models, recommendation engines, and natural language processing (NLP) pipelines using large-scale datasets and AI technologies.
  • KPI Workflow management: Work with the Business Intelligence group to develop and maintain KPI workflows and serve as Quality Data steward to maintain compliance to data policies and data definitions.
  • Training: Provide training as needed for cross-department groups.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear actionable countermeasures for global quality and executive leadership.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive, curious mindset with a strong bias toward action and effective results.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and agile global quality team and manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Data Science), or equivalent practical experience required; Master's degree is a plus!
  • 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics, advanced quantitative analysis, preferably within a manufacturing-based company.
  • Large Data Tools: Experience working with distributed data processing tools such as Snowflake, Qlik sense, SQL Server.
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in visualization, Excel, and BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau to communicate insights effectively.
  • Statistical Modeling Tools: Experience in R, Minitab, SAS, Python preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as business needs require.
