Job description

Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position:

  • Develop reports, briefs, dashboards, and data extracts related to child support and Medicaid recovery to support department operations, legislative requirements, executive leadership, and external partner needs using government, public, and industry data sources.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based data extracts, reporting solutions, analytical datasets, and automated reporting processes to support operational, research, evaluation, and decision-making activities.
  • Monitor, evaluate, audit, and review operations, programs, processes, systems, and reporting practices for quality, accuracy, effectiveness, compliance, and completeness; identify operational issues or potential problem areas and recommend data-driven solutions and process improvements.
  • Provide analytical guidance, research support, feasibility analysis, and strategic recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including presenting findings, responding to legislative and public inquiries, and translating technical information into business terms for cross-functional audiences.
  • Assist with data quality reviews, query Management, data validation, quality control processes, and reporting integrity efforts to ensure accuracy, consistency, reliability, and compliance with agency standards and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, reporting requirements, and data protection standards related to data governance, reporting practices, and the handling of sensitive or regulated information.
  • Recommend, adapt, design, and enhance automated systems, reporting solutions, and user-level system improvements to better support agency operations, complex business needs, and integration with existing systems.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support projects, programs, reporting initiatives, and operational improvement efforts by developing project documentation, recommendations, findings, and implementation support materials.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, leadership, technical staff, and stakeholders to support department initiatives, operational goals, and continuous process improvement efforts.

Position qualifies for Hybrid work schedule after probationary period.
