Acuren is currently seeking an Operations & Finance Data Analytics Lead to join our team in Houston. This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced data analytics professional looking to take the next step and make a meaningful impact within a growing organization.

The role will lead the development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise reporting, dashboards, data models, and automation solutions across the I&M organization.

Responsibilities

Using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, data‑wrangling platforms, and AI‑driven automation technologies, the successful candidate will enhance reporting capabilities, support informed decision‑making, reduce manual processes, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Translate operational and financial requirements into clear, actionable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Develop and manage automated workflows using artificial intelligence and process‑automation tools.
  • Perform and support data preparation, transformation, and quality processes.
  • Partner with I&M Operations, Finance, and functional business units to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for data governance, reporting consistency, visualization standards, and automation workflows.
  • Support self‑service analytics and provide training to users on Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting platforms.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence development, reporting, or automation.
  • Strong experience using Power BI and Tableau to develop dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data preparation, transformation, and wrangling.
  • Experience using AI and automation tools such as Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to manage priorities, organize work effectively, and communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
