As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's Digital Marketing Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Tyson's Corner, VA; or Washington, D.C.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and technical Business Analytics Lead to join the Digital Marketing Analytics team. This role will lead measurement, experimentation, and optimization initiatives that improve digital marketing effectiveness and drive measurable business value. The ideal candidate combines advanced analytics, digital marketing expertise, and strategic problem solving to influence decisions across marketing and senior leadership.
What You Will Do:
Lead measurement strategies and analytical frameworks across digital marketing channels to quantify incremental business impact and inform investment decisions.
Analyze campaign and customer performance to identify opportunities, optimize marketing effectiveness, and maximize ROI.
Design and evaluate experiments, including A/B tests, geo-based tests, and conversion lift studies, to measure incremental business impact.
Develop practical testing frameworks that balance statistical rigor, execution complexity, and business objectives.
Integrate media, web analytics, customer, and marketing technology data to create a unified view of performance.
Build dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights and support decision making.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
Present methodologies, insights, and results to technical, business, and executive audiences.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, marketing analytics, experimentation, or data science.
Advanced SQL skills and experience using Python for analytics.
Experience designing and evaluating experiments, including hypothesis testing, power analysis, and causal measurement.
Experience working with large datasets and applying analytical methods to solve business problems.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights.
Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments, define problems, evaluate analytical approaches, and recommend solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, SA360, CM360, Google Ads or similar marketing technology platforms.
Experience analyzing digital marketing channels, including paid search, display, social, affiliate, email, and programmatic.
Knowledge of attribution, incrementality, conversion tracking, identity resolution, and customer journey analytics.

  • Consults with clients and mentors consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Assists peers with guidance on analytic approaches related to more complex solutions.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
