Position Summary

At Cedar Gate Technologies, an IQVIA business, the Senior Data Analytics Analyst will collaborate closely with Data Managers to analyze complex healthcare data, design scalable data solutions, and support the integration of client data into the Cedar Gate Analytics Platform. This role leverages a variety of analytic, statistical, and ETL tools to ensure accurate, efficient, and standardized data processing across multiple healthcare sources.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in transforming data into meaningful insights that improve healthcare outcomes, while growing your technical expertise within a supportive, innovationfocused team.

This role assumes prior, hands-on experience working with complex healthcare claims datasets and does not include foundational training.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Interpret, analyze, and validate data using advanced statistical, querying, and analytical techniques.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation from diverse healthcare data sources.
  • Map disparate data fields into a unified schema and reconcile our client's member information across datasets.
  • Support data standardization efforts, including relationship code alignment, demographic normalization, member month calculations, and healthcare code analysis.
  • Execute detailed data analysis tasks assigned by the reporting manager in support of client and internal goals.
  • Follow organizational data processing standards using proprietary tools and ETL pipelines for Analytics.
  • Partner with Data Managers and cross functional teams, including Client Success and Client Delivery, to gather requirements, document workflows, analyze use cases, and support implementation activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client technical issues related to healthcare claims, EMR data, and ancillary data sources; provide timely ad hoc support during scheduled and unscheduled client interactions.
Experience / Qualifications
  • This position requires working in the office in Burlington, MA, at least 3 days per week (4 days per week preferred) to work alongside other data team members.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience (5+ years is preferred) in data centric roles with increasing levels of responsibility is required
  • At least 2 years of experience working with healthcare claims systems, EMR data, or related healthcare datasets is required.
  • Strong data management skills and practical ETL experience are required.
  • Proficiency with AWS, Redshift, SQL, and advanced Excel functions.
  • Exposure to software development following Agile methodologies and team-based development processes.
  • To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country and within a commutable distance where the job is located.
