Come join Intuit as a Staff Technical Data Analyst for Finance! Intuit is a global technology platform that helps consumers and small, mid-market businesses overcome their most important financial challenges.

As a Staff Technical Data Analyst in the Finance Analytics & Systems team, you will be responsible for creative problem solving, with excellent data and analytical skills. The role is ideal for technical lead who is highly analytical, exceptional communicator, thrives in solving complex business challenges, delivering company level analytics to support effective decision-making and problem-solving for leaders.


Responsibilities

● Partner with teams across FP&A to understand their analytics needs and deliver end-to-end data solutions.

● Collect and analyze data from diverse sources (databases, spreadsheets, external sources).

● Develop and maintain data models and algorithms.

● Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

● Design and implement data collection systems to optimize data quality and effi ciency.

● Provide recommendations to improve data collection and analysis processes.

● Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques and tools.

● Build subject matter expertise and finance acumen.

● Narrate complex data stories concisely, highlighting insights and their impact on business outcomes for leadership and stakeholders.

● Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines.


Qualifications

● 6+ years of experience in a data analytics role.

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative fi eld, or equivalent work experience.

● Advanced data visualization tools (Qliksense is preferred or similar tools), SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and performance tuning. Experience with Databricks and data integration.

● Familiarity with AWS (Redshift, Athena); knowledge of Python, Javascript, is a plus.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with colleagues across the business with varying technical expertise.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for creating effi cient, maintainable, and scalable data solutions.

● Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for business enhancement.

● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Bay Area California $ 166,000- 224,500

Southern California $ 172,000- 232,500
