Job description

Overview
The Auburn University Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Lab is seeking a Student Data Analyst to join the Data Team, where you will work on real-world projects involving data analysis, automation, and problem-solving. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in data processing, analytics, and workflow automation while contributing to innovative research and industry solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and automate data workflows for analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and industry partners to solve complex data problems.
  • Analyze datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends.
  • Adapt quickly and take initiative in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications
Enrolled student at Auburn University
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of data concepts (joins, filtering, aggregation)
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to new technologies
  • Knowledge of Python or Excel for data analysis
  • Preferred experience with SQL (querying, filtering, and managing datasets).
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and maintaining attention to detail.
