Job Summary RMS is seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an individual who is looking to grow their career in data analysis and project management. The successful candidate will assist with data analysis tasks, support project management activities, and assist with other tasks, including reconciliations. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a broad skill set and gain exposure to various functions within our organization. Key Responsibilities: - Data Analysis: - Assist in the coordination and loading of data sets into RMS's proprietary systems. - Manipulating and analyzing data using Excel and other analytical tools. - Help develop and maintain reports and visualizations to highlight key performance metrics. - Perform data validation and error-checking to ensure accuracy and integrity. Project Participation: - Assist in the planning and execution of projects related to data management and business improvements. - Track project progress and provide regular updates to senior management. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones. - Prepare project documentation and presentations for stakeholder review. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field. - 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or project management preferred. - Knowledge of the mortgage industry and basic data elements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools. - Basic knowledge of Python or other programming languages is a plus. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Working knowledge of mortgage data is a plus. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
