About this opportunity

The Role of Logistics Specialist requires a candidate who has sound SAP knowledge and operational experience, who will assist APAC with sourcing, logistics and warehousing, customs clearance, supply administration, issuing and receiving goods for iTero products within the region, demo activities and RMA ; working towards achieving operational goals for the iTero business. 
In this role, you will...

Key responsibilities:            
o   Oversee SAP's Order-to-Cash (OTC) and SFDC (Salesforce) covering system inventory control and distribution management, completing daily tasks to ensure accuracy in inventory.  
o   Coordinate RMA return and coordination with local markets in order to achieve timely returns.
o   Coordinate demo assets and sleeves inbound and outbound to designated sites and ensure the records of movement/flow are updated and traceable.
o   Processing invoices from 3PL, including verifying accuracy of billing and ensuring AP processes payment on time.
o   Monitor and manage freight and logistics partners' performance for shipping, customs clearance, warehousing and domestic distribution.
o   Resolve shipping and distribution related issues (with internal and external logistics partners) and feedback with systematic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions - Preventive Actions (CAPA) Plan if the event of a Non-Conformance (NC).
o   Enforce documentations used by both shipper for inbound and outbound are correct in terms of valuation, HS Code and COO among others.
o   A grounded understanding of trade compliance and valuation and able to work with Trade Compliance and RA team on all customs matters involving HS Code, ECCN, import and export processes in certain countries.
o   A basic understanding of export control regulations, a role as ECO will be an added advantage.
o   Understand and able to navigate through diverse logistical landscape within Rest of Asia mainly in SG, IN, VN, TH, MY, KR, ID, PH, HKTW and ANZ.
o   Support and align with Global and Regional projects relating to Systems Roll-out, Go-To-Market Strategy, Regulatory Compliance, etc.
o   Communicate all shipment issues to owners with resolutions.
o   Assure and follow up on-time delivery of materials in the track and trace process.
o   Preparing reports which effectively communicate findings to the APAC leadership and key stakeholders; mainly in costs, savings and SLA performance.
o   Responsible for ensuring adherence to documentation retention requirements with 3PLs and internal requirements and/or as specified within local regulations.
o   Maintain relationships with business partners and vendors via MBR and QBR.
o   Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures including ISO13485 and GDPMD and other local country regulations.
o   Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
o   BA/BS degree in Business Management, Logistics, Material Planning or Supply Chain or equivalent practical experience
o   2-5 years of experience in the logistics industry or in a similar role managing logistics service providers
o   Strong knowledge and hands-on of SAP system is essential
o   Knowledge of SFDC is an added advantage
o   Possessing Dangerous Goods (DG) certification is an added advantage
o   Depth knowledge and handling of Excel
o   Basic understanding of supply chain processes including material planning, shipping, importation, and contract logistics.
o   Strong critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills
o   Fluency in English and Mandarin both written and spoken
o   Fluency in Cantonese, Vietnamese, Thai are added advantages.
o   Basic experience in preparing shipping documentations and export/import declarations will be an added advantage especially in specific country National Single Window (NSW)
o   Strong networking in the industry with 3PLs will be an added advantage
o   Be prepared to work on Saturday if support is required for month end or quarter end closing.
