Job description

Description Are you a dynamic dance instructor ready to inspire the next generation of talent. We're seeking a passionate and experienced dance educator to help grow our vibrant dance program. Join us as we celebrate the art of dance and help students develop their skills in a fun and engaging environment.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead dance classes and guide dancer development throughout the course. Choreograph a routine for student showcases (Dec/April). Communicate supply/costume needs to the supervisor and provide input on the program where appropriate.

Work with other dance faculty to coordinate performance/rehearsal logistics may be required. PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE: Required experience in live events. Experience in event management or front-of-house coordination preferred.

EDUCATION: A background in dance education is required. College completion or in-progress preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS & TRAINING: Based on the class schedule, this position can work with students from ages 3 through ages 18.

Experience working with students of varying backgrounds and abilities is required. Students will range from beginner to intermediate/advanced. START DATE & WORK SCHEDULE: ASAP Evening and weekend hours vary based on the dance schedule.
