Purpose:

The Marketing Leader is a forward thinking-partner who demonstrates ownership over a defined external facing strategy aimed at growing sales and building the brand in the community; and a defined internal facing strategy aimed at employee retention and satisfaction. He/she embodies the values of Chick-fil-A and serves as an ambassador to the community.

Wages: $14 per hour

Requirements:

  • Ability to work at least 40 hrs/wk (with some degree of flexibility to service events)
  • ServSafe Manager certified
  • Specialized in marketing metrics and reports

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the annual marketing plan to build/drive external sales through various channels (Catering, CFA Delivery, Spirit Nights etc.) and boost employee satisfaction:
  • Develop a plan to ensure Emotional Connections Marketing (ECM) daily
  • Create and execute In-store and outside marketing activities
  • Involve the team in community-wide events
  • Develop program for weekly team member recognition based on performance
  • Develop program for monthly team member recognition associated with special events (birthdays, work anniversaries, other special occasions)
  • Work alongside Mind Dance Marketing on market level initiatives
  • Manage team members in assisting with the execution of events
  • Manage the store's social media presence on all applicable platforms
  • Communicate with the Catering & Delivery Director on key marketing metrics, garner feedback on the marketing plan and discuss trends that impact other areas of operation
  • Effectively manage the store's overall marketing spending in such a way that items can be used multiple times across events and activities
  • Build and manage relationships with CFA V.I.P. guests (valued customers)
  • Attend monthly Chamber of Commerce meetings as a representative of the restaurant to build and maintain relationships with business partners (schools, businesses, hospitals etc.)
  • Train and develop team/guests on CFA marketing tools
  • Ensure promotions are properly advertised (signage, social media, etc.)
  • Manage physical store ambience and presentation
