Job description

Dallas Stars Outreach Temporary Position

This temporary position operates all season long, providing the right candidate an opportunity for hands-on experience assisting with the Dallas Stars outreach efforts in the community, with a focus on fundraising and donations efforts, event planning, and our programming. This position is eligible for partial remote work with supervisor approval.

Essential Functions
  • Attend and execute various Foundation duties at a majority of Stars home games
  • Attend and work various duties at Foundation events (including Casino Night and Hall of Fame Gala)
  • Assist with League wide and club specific Recognition Nights (Hockey Fights Cancer, Military Appreciation, Hockey for All, etc.)
  • Craft recap presentations for potential and current partnerships
  • Assist in organizing various projects and programs
  • Season long tracking of community impact numbers
  • Administrative responsibilities as needed
Job Qualifications
  • Strong desire to give back to the community
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Nonprofit or volunteer experience a plus
  • Appropriate time management skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Power Point & Excel
  • Ability to work flexible hours
