Job description

Position – Wire EDM


Job Location –Sussex, WI


Starting Date –Immediate


Employment Type –Full-Time


Work Hours (Shift) –2nd shift - 3pm-11pm - MUST BE WILLING TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR A FEW MONTHS (7am-3pm)


Starting Pay –$19.00 - can make up to $22 once trained and transition over to 2nd shift


Benefits –Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus


Required Education –High School Diploma/GED



Responsibilities:


  1. Operate wire-EDM machines as required
  2. Communicate with Shift Supervisor daily for job assignments and instructions
  3. Load wire and other machining media into machine
  4. Review setup sheet, quality routing, inspection data, and specifications for detailed operation procedures, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished workpiece
  5. Load control media or retrieve preprogrammed machine instructions from data base
  6. Adjust machine parameters and flushing conditions to maximize cutting efficiency when required
  7. Observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions
  8. Measure workpiece for conformance to specifications, using various inspection media, recording data when required
  9. General machine maintenance, housekeeping, and organization of shop (filters, machine watering, DI, used wire collection, floor care, fixture cleaning, etc.)



Qualification:


  1. Open to entry level candidates - must be willing to train on 1st shift
  2. Must have reliable transportation
  3. Must be able to multitask
  4. Require 90% standing and walking and at times fast paced

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
