Job description

The Foundry/DST Developer will work the migration of applications and tableau workbooks into Vantage. The candidate will be a part of technical discussions, make critical technical decisions, and receive mentorship. The candidate will translate business needs to technical solutions in Vantage; often with level of effort estimates and multiple solution options for client to choose from. The candidate will meet with stakeholders to collect and manage requirements; and ensures design aligns with business goals.
Requirements
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance
  • Vantage Platform Proficiency: Deep understanding of Palantir’s Vantage platform, including its tools, services, and design flows
  • Experience developing pipelines ontology in Vantage, as well as experience using Workshop
  • IP Integration: Experience in integrating third-party intellectual property (IP) cores into customer designs using the Vantage platform
  • Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with the ecosystem surrounding the Vantage platform, including design tools, IP providers, and system houses
  • Cloud-based Design and Verification: Proficiency in cloud-based design and verification tools, given the Vantage platform's emphasis on cloud-based services
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile and DevOps practices, as these are often used in cloud-based development environments
  • Data Analytics: Skills in data analytics to leverage the wealth of data generated by the Vantage platform for process improvements and yield optimization
  • API Development: Proficiency in developing APIs to facilitate communication between different software tools and systems
Desired Skills
  • SLATE and Contour Experience preferred
  • Experience with AIP in Vantage
  • Experience writing development user stories
  • Process Development and Integration: Ability to develop, debug, and integrate new processes into Foundry's flow
  • Technical Documentation: Strong ability to document processes clearly and comprehensively, including creating and maintaining process manuals and technical reports
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Typescript and SQL scripting for automation of tasks
  • Statistical Tools: Experience performing Data Science activities in tracking data lineage from the frontend application back to its source with corresponding visualization calculations
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot complex problems, analyze data, and find effective solutions
  • Experience in solutioning business requirements into corresponding Vantage Technical solutions
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and customers
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously, often under tight deadlines
