Job Summary:
Moore is a company that specializes in data processing and printing solutions. The Data Programmer role involves working with large datasets to analyze, plan, and execute complex processing workflows, focusing on creating end-to-end solutions for data transformations and large-scale production preparation.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Read and follow complex job processing instructions.
โ€ข Plan and execute a data processing workflow.
โ€ข Receive, analyze and manipulate data using third-party and in-house software.
โ€ข Work with data in a variety of formats including Access, Excel, comma-delimited, xml and fixed length.
โ€ข Write scripts using C++ syntax to perform data transformations.
โ€ข Create digital layouts for variable data printing in Quadient Inspire Designer.
โ€ข Prepare files for output to a wide range of printing devices.
โ€ข Perform quality assurance checks for all work.
โ€ข Work closely with the customer service team and production staff.
โ€ข Serve as technical support for all projects worked on.
โ€ข Stay current with regulations pertaining to the printing and mailing industry.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
โ€ข Proficiency working in a Microsoft Windows environment.
โ€ข Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
โ€ข Strong analytical skills.
โ€ข Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
