Job description

Data Engineer

Location: Onsite in OKC – 5 days/week

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship

We’re partnering with a client on a direct-hire Data Engineering role supporting a growing analytics and data platform. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building and improving data pipelines, working closely with business stakeholders, and helping an organization mature its data capabilities.

You’ll be part of a small, collaborative data team and will play a hands-on role in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines that support reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making. The environment is evolving, so this is a great opportunity for someone who likes to make an impact and help shape how data is used across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Building and maintaining ELT pipelines into a cloud data warehouse
  • Working with data from APIs, cloud systems, flat files, and enterprise applications
  • Optimizing data performance and reliability for analytics and reporting
  • Collaborating with IT and business teams to translate data needs into solutions
  • Supporting data quality, governance, and documentation best practices
  • Troubleshooting pipeline issues and improving existing processes

What They’re Looking For:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or ELT development
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Matillion (or comparable tools)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Experience working with APIs and cloud-based data sources
  • Ability to work onsite, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities

If you’re a hands-on data engineer who enjoys building, improving, and owning data pipelines—and want to work closely with the business rather than sit behind the scenes—this is worth a conversation.
