Job description

D&G Transportation (Germantown, WI) is celebrating our 40th anniversary as a family-owned, national LTL carrier. We are seeking a full-time 2nd / 3rd shift forklift operator at our Cross-Dock facility. This is a non-exempt position with a $20+ hourly wage, negotiable according to experience.


Hours of the position are to follow:

Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Thursday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Noon to Midnight)

Friday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently move products in/out of trucks and storage racks in ambient, cooler and freezer temperatures
  • Understand and follow Bills of Lading
  • Accurately record and report pallet locations
  • Help maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Communicate professionally with internal/external stakeholders

Qualifications:

·         Experience operating sit-down forklifts

·         Able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

·         High regard for food safety and related policies

·         Reliable – ready to start shift at designated time

·         Unwavering attention to detail
